About seven years ago, the gap in the marketplace between incredibly expensive, complex business management solutions for large enterprises and inadequate, overly simplistic products targeting small to mid-sized businesses (SMBs) became so noticeable that our management team was spurred into action.
Some of the best and brightest brains in professional services automation (PSA) and project management put their heads together to bridge that industry gap. Vorex was founded on the principle that every SMB, no matter how small, deserves access to sophisticated and powerful business management software that isn’t too complicated to easily streamline day-to-day operations and won’t break the bank.
Through an intuitive, feature-rich platform, Vorex offers PSA and project management software that makes it easy for project managers, business owners, CIOs and managed service providers (MSPs) to manage, grow and track their businesses in a single location. This approach enables business owners to focus on the strategy required to move their businesses forward, empowering them to better serve customers, boost productivity, streamline processes and improve profitability.
In 2007, Vorex founder and CEO, Michael Salem, left his position as the assistant vice president for Bank of America’s Dallas office to develop the first version of Vorex. During his more than 20 year career with large and resource-rich corporations such as Bank of America and Sprint, Salem identified a way he could bring some of those enterprise-level resources to the SMB.
Upon Vorex’s inception in 2007, Salem gathered a small team of developers and spent the first year and a half focused exclusively on developing the product. He interviewed SMB owners for insight and asked them to conduct testing to ensure the very first sale Vorex made was of an outstanding product.
To this day, Vorex maintains a culture of carefully listening to customer needs and continual product improvements that meet specific pain points. At Vorex, we don’t tell you how to run your business – you tell us. Our job is to create the ideal software to help you thrive.
