Deciding on which employee or contractor has the best skills for any given task is not an easy job. Organizations that do not have this process automated will have to go through employees’ records, call and inquire, and ask other managers. As a project manager, it is a frustrating task and takes away from your daily duties.


The Skills Matching module is a tool that will turn days worth of cumbersome work into a simple 10 minute job.


Vorex PSA Suite stores employees’ skill along with the level of experience. This centralized database can be easily updated by HR personnel, managers, or the employees through the access controlled Employee Self Service. This ensure a consistent and up-to-date repository of skills for each employee.


The module allows project managers to enter the skills set required for any task, and with a single click of a button- the system will suggest a list of employees who possess these skills and a match percentage. It will even consider their location and utilization, so you can make a better decision on who should be assigned to any given task.

  • Skill search: Look-up employees who possess certain skill sets.
  • Project skills: Let the system search skills based on project requirements.
  • Level of experience: The system will consider the experience level needed for any skill search.
  • Auto-staffing: Assign selected employees from the skill match results to a project with one click.
  • Requests: If you are not the employee's manager, you can send an automatic request to their manager showing your interest in utilizing their time.
  • Notification: Automatic notification to the selected employees and their managers upon assigning them to any project.
